at R Street, we informally practice the philosophy, that “the church that eats together, stays together” and for that reason we hosting monthly “Gatherings” – church-family meals hosted in various homes. This Sunday you will have the opportunity to join in one of these meals and to get to know some of your R Street family members better.
This Sunday:
Gathering @ The Currey’s
What for? To celebrate Adam and Bethany Peterson’s recent wedding & to celebrate just being a church family
What time?
4:30 p.m. (We’re starting early as Mark has to get his beauty rest you know!)
What can you bring? Thanks for asking!
The Curreys will be providing 1 large pot of mild chili, one pot of potato soup, paper plates, bowls, utensils, cups.
after all that we will still need:
a second, maybe spicier, chili, other soups
Fritos
Crackers
Cornbread (I know that Amy Brawner is bringing this)
Crusty Bread
Grated Cheddar
Sour Cream
Salsa
Drinks
Desserts
Oh, and don’t forget Adam & Bethany! We are going to celebrate and “shower” them with gifts of cold hard cash and cold hard gift cards so
that they can start their new life together well provided for, no matter what God has in store for them or where he chooses to send them!
